The 55 gal drum is full and demonstrates there is no need to find a balance point.

A small flip down tail board and chain secure the ATV. An extended version is possible that would be large enough to handle golf carts and even ski-doos 

An ATV with a full sprayer tank or basket full of oil jugs presents no problems.

We use the 4-wheeler to check every irrigation well everyday.  Just pull up to the well road and hop on and go.  We have cut our pickup repairs in half by keeping them out of the mud as much as possible.

Our well roads stay in much better shape with just 4-wheeler tracks.  Even the smallest puddle seems to turn into a major mud hole by the end of irrigation season when you drive a pickup through it everyday.
